Mr. William A. McMinn -Senior Founding Principal
  Currently Chairman of The Board of Texas Petrochemicals Corporation since 1996, Mr. McMinn began his distinguished career as a leading petrochemical industry executive in 1952 with Monsanto Chemical Company in Texas City, Texas (1952-1958).

  From 1958-1961, Mr. McMinn worked in research and sales for Petro-Tex Chemical. From 1961-62 Mr. McMinn was Assistant to the President of Mississippi Chemical Company. From 1962-1964 he was Vice President of Sales in the cattle feed business of Delta Industries. From there Mr. McMinn returned to Petro-Tex Chemical as Vice President of Sales and Marketing (1964 -1973). From 1973 to 1975 he was Vice President of Administration for FMC Corporation in New York, and held the position of Vice President and General Manager Industrial Chemicals from 1975 to 1986.

  Mr. McMinn became President of the legendary Cain Chemical, Inc. in 1987, which was the leveraged buy-out of seven ethylene-derivative petrochemical plants from various corporations. In 1988 Cain Chemical was sold to Occidental Petroleum for approximately $2.2 billion, generating roughly $1.25 billion in net proceeds for Cain Chemical's shareholders.

  From 1990 to spring of 1997 Mr. McMinn was Chairman of the Board of Arcadian Corporation, another successful buyout of eight nitrogen-based fertilizer plants in North America from various corporations.

  Mr. McMinn is currently involved with nanotechnologies and bio-pharmaceuticals and is a Senior Founding Principal of The Legacy Equity Group, LLC.

Mr. J. Virgil Waggoner - Senior Founding Principal
  Mr. Waggoner's distinguished career as a leading petrochemical industry executive began in 1950 when he joined Monsanto Company in Texas City. Thirty-five years later, after retiring as President of El Paso Products and becoming an independent consultant, he negotiated the purchase of Monsanto's Texas City plant in forming the legendary Sterling Chemicals, Inc. with Gordon Cain.

  Mr. Waggoner served as President and Chief Executive Officer from Sterling Chemicals founding in August, 1986 until its sale and his retirement in 1996. Under his leadership, Sterling Chemicals paid off all of its LBO debt,was capitalized conservatively to weather any cyclical storm, became a public company, and has been included in both Forbes and Fortune 500.

  Mr. Waggoner describes the greatest challenge of his business career as "waking up on August 2, 1986, and realizing we'd completed a leverage buy-out of Monsanto-Texas City, and we were $200 million in debt! And then feeling comfortable that the management team could succeed, pay off the debt and realize the potential we had projected. Also Gordon Cain (Sterling's Chairman) and I wanted all the employees to share in the company's ultimate success." In fact, under Mr. Waggoner's leadership, the company was a phenomenal success, and the employee plans for stock ownership and profit sharing became a legendary business model of generosity.

  Mr. Waggoner is actively involved in numerous civic, community and charitable causes including Orbis International, Advisory Council of the College of natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, The Good Samaritan Foundation, the Childress Foundation, University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (Executive Committee), University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center (Development Committee), Baylor College of Medicine, TIIR Foundation, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (Lifetime Director), Phyto-Riker Pharmaceuticals, Inc., GulfWest Energy Company, Development Committee for Ouachita Baptist University, and The Waggoners Foundation.

  Mr. Waggoner is a Senior Founding Principal of The Legacy Equity Group, LLC.

Mr. Gregory R. Ford - Founding Principal
  Mr. Ford has over two decades of experience in successfully providing traditional banking, complex structured-financing, corporate finance and investment banking products and services and intellectual capital to a wide variety of companies ranging from small, closely held private firms to large, publicly-traded multinational corporations.

  During his career, Mr. Ford has been involved in a variety of capacities in closing in excess of $5 billion of aggregate transactions. During the mid-80's Mr. Ford managed the Energy Loan Production Office in New York City for Texas Commerce Bank, National Association, a $30 billion super-regional banking organization. Approximately half of the transactions Mr. Ford was involved in consisted of arrangement of capital on a fully underwritten basis. Additionally, over $2.5 billion of the aggregate transactions were focused in the chemical and petrochemical industries. He also played a role in providing capital to more than ten highly successful leveraged buyouts and highly leveraged recapitalizations ranging in size from $14 million to over $1 billion, with an average transaction size of $208 million.

  Mr. Ford graduated from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, earning a BBA and an MBA in 1980 and 1981, respectively. In March 2002, Mr. Ford was accepted into The Houston Technology Center's Mentor Program to assist early-stage and early-stage and emerging technology oriented companies in the Houston area.

Mr. Stewart H. Yonts - Founding Principal
  Mr. Yonts served in various financial postions beginning with the original Sterling Chemicals LBO in 1986 including Manager of Taxes, Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer from 1986 -1999.

  Prior to that Mr. Yonts was employed by Tenneco from 1976 -1980, last serving as Tax Counsel. From 1980 to 1982, he was Tax manager of Home Petroleum Corporation. From 1982-1986 was Director of Taxes of MCO Resources, Inc., a natural resources company.

  From 1999-2000, Mr. Yonts was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Continental Carbon Company.

  Mr Yonts, a CPA, holds a degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and a law degree from the University of Louisville.

  He is currently manager of Signet Enterprises, LLC, a financial serices firm and a Founding Principal of The Legacy Equity Group, LLC.
